Lorin Radtke


Lorin previously was a Partner at Goldman Sachs. During his 24 years at Goldman he demonstrated Innovative results orientated leadership. He has a proven record of crisis and risk management including successfully running Goldman Sachs’ Mortgage and Structured products groups during the financial crisis (2008-2014). He was responsible for the franchise and global growth of a multi-billion dollar platform of institutional clients, including banks, insurance companies, pensions, endowments, hedge funds and private equity. Lorin has a MBA from University of Chicago and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Steve Kuhn


Steve was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Pine River Capital - where he managed one of world's most successful hedge funds of the past twenty years. At Pine River he focused on seeking new opportunities and served on both the Executive Committee and on the Charitable Initiatives Committee. Prior to joining Pine River in 2008, Steve was a Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs based in New York and Beijing from 2002 to 2007. From 1999 to 2002, Steve was a Japanese convertible bond trader at Citadel Investment Group in Chicago. Prior to that, he was head of mortgage backed securities trading at Cargill. Steve received an AB cum laude in Economics from Harvard University in 1991.

Hunter Powell


Before M78V Hunter was President and CEO of Splice, a startup which was acquired by a billion dollar consumer tech company in 2016. With over 100 million videos created, the multi-award winning Splice was one of world’s most popular apps for editing photo and video content on your iPhone. Hunter is also an author and teaches history at the University of Texas. Hunter has a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge and BA from University of Pennsylvania.

Brad Siedel


Brad has practiced law since 1998. He began as a corporate lawyer at a national law firm, focusing on a securities and M&A practice. Later, he shifted gears into commercial litigation where he represented clients in some of the country’s largest and most complicated class action lawsuits, which yielded billions of dollars of relief for his clients. In all stages of his legal career, Brad has successfully evaluated and mitigated substantial risks for his clients. Brad has a JD from the University of Texas and a BS from Texas A&M.

Mike Benz


Before M78, Mike founded Ampersand Partners, an independent consultancy based in Austin, TX. Prior to Ampersand, Mike was a Strategist and Deputy Portfolio Manager at Pine River Capital Management in New York City. Earlier, Mike spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs in Prime Brokerage and Equities. Mike began his career as a market maker on the CBOE for Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Mike has degrees in Communications and Economics from Northwestern University and a MPA from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
